Nutella Mochi

Ingredients

  • 1 cup glutinous rice flour (mochiko)
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 1 tbsp cocoa powder
  • Cornstarch or potato starch for dusting

Filling

  • Nutella or chocolate hazelnut spread

Steps

  • In a bowl, mix rice flour, sugar, cocoa powder, and milk.
  • Whisk until smooth and lump-free.
  • Microwave for 2–3 minutes, stir, then cook again for 2 more minutes until sticky dough forms.
  • Dust a surface with cornstarch and let the dough cool slightly.
  • Flatten small portions of dough and place Nutella in the center.
  • Seal the edges carefully and shape into smooth balls.
  • Chill for 10 minutes before serving for the best texture.

  • Cooling Time: 15 minutes
  • Total Time: 30 minutes
